Degel,is a multidisciplinary journal that seeks to promote excellence by providing a platform for scholars and researchers to publish significant conceptual and empirical findings in Humanities and Social Sciences. The journal welcomes scholarly articles and well-articulated book reviews from interested scholars and researchers within humanities. It publishes in the fields of History, Religion, Language, Culture, and other related areas. The journal is indexed in Google Scholar and CiteFactor;and currently it has applied to join AJOL, Open Academic Journals Index (OAJI), Scientific Indexing Services (SIS), World Cat, and Directory of Research Journals Indexing (DRJI).Degel is published by the Faculty of Arts and Islamic Studies, UsmanuDanfodiyo University, Sokoto-Nigeria.

Scope of the Journal

Authors Guide

  • Papers must be typed double spaced and not to exceed 15 pages on A4 size
  • Articles could be written on either APA or MLA referencing styles.
  • Tables, Diagrams and Maps should be either placed or appended appropritely.
  • Article can be submitted using the link: www.degeljournal.org/submit_manuscript.php.
  • Papers in Hausa Language should be either Rabiat Muhammad or Abdalla fonts.
  • Authors are held responsible for the views expresed in their papers.
